I have been searching for salsa classes in the City that are structure and progressive and finally found this studio! I have completed their intro to salsa class and currently completing salsa level 1. The instructors- Michael and Trang- are so talented, kind, and knowledgeable. They create such a friendly and inclusive environment where I have significantly progressed week over week- the structure has been so pivotal to my progression- including detailed video recaps of what we learn in class and socials after class. Students are also pretty consistent, so it’s a great place to progress while meeting new people/making new friends. I’ve coordinated with fellow classmates to social dance on weekends! Can’t recommend this class enough.

Michael and Trang are amazing teachers and wonderful people. They are incredibly patient, kind, and encouraging, making every class enjoyable. They build your salsa skills from the ground up, ensuring everyone feels comfortable. Their supportive teaching style creates a fun and welcoming environment where you can truly enjoy learning. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants to learn salsa!

One of the things I really appreciate is that the curriculum is genuinely progressive. The academy enforces the level structure, so each class can build on what students already learned. The beginner program is also broken down very thoughtfully, with an intro level followed by two Level 1 courses. This makes it much easier to focus on the right skills at each stage without feeling overwhelmed. I’ve also taken private lessons with Michael, and his detailed feedback has made a noticeable difference in my social dancing in a very short amount of time. The environment is friendly and welcoming, and classes have become something I look forward to every week. I’m very happy I found this academy!
